Hi Mr. Leux,
Good to seeing you here!
YES, the forums seem to be back.
I heard they were 'read only', but I am happy that you were able to post.
Due to technical reasons the forums were offline and I hope to inform you soon,
how we will proceed.

Hi Slide,
The most interesting innovation of last year for me was, no doubt, the ID-II by Cartier.
When it comes to most interesting watch released in 2012, I vote for the Urwerk 210.
The best Urwerk since the 103 series, to me.

Thanks very much! The Pasha de Cartier has always been one of my favorite models.
The Pasha collection always brought us amazing pieces in limited editions, like the tourbilons from the nineties
and the current Pasha 42 Grande date with chocolate dial.
Beautiful watch, also the one with the white dial. Love the characters, used for the Grande date.
Here is mine, a simple time only, with
This is the champaign the Boutiques serve and sometimes give away to customers.
It is made by Franken.
The champaign 'Demoiselle 'by Franken, comes very, very close to the one they make for Cartier.
Cartier also has a white champaign but especially the pink champaign is really delicious.

Hi Martin, I usually agree with you and you know that I am keen on a good mens watches with diamonds.
But the Crash to me is such a strange watch, that for a mens version I would love to see it, just larger and as simple as possible.
No diamonds on the mens version, for me; In general I prefer diamonds, for mens watches, just on square cases.
GEO
I did not want to spoil the main post with this plain picture, but it's still an important one,
since it shows very well, how the watch looks like.
If there will be a mens version or not in the future, is still the question, but probably not anytime soon.
Here are the specs for the ladies model;
Case: 18-carat pink- or white gold set with brilliant-cut diamonds
Diameter: 38.45 mm x
Thank you very much Mr leux, for your compliments and for your stunning pictures!
You must be a very creative person, to come up with these cool images.
I would like to thank all of you here at the forum and my colleagues from Revolution, for the support.
The forum did very well in 2012 and thanks to all of you, that it has become such a nice community.!
Happy New Year !
GEO
You're right Dino. Where is it?
Cartier created this high end Crash for ladies for this year, so it could be, that they will create a high end mens version for 2014.
I am sure Cartier realise that there is a small group of men that would love a larger model,
but pieces like this do not sell in large numbers. It's no priority.
Let's hope it will come one day, for now there are no rumours yet.
I wonder what has been changed for you, when you re visit Amsterdam again.
Sure the P.C Hooftstraat has changed completely, like Parizka street in Prague and Andrássy út in Budapest.
But the canal area in the very centre of he city, has not changed much.
Keep me posted about your plans.
GEO
You should visit Amsterdam Sang, next time you're in France you could take the Thalys
and spend a few days in Amsterdam, there is a lot of culture and the museums are gorgeous, but not free
like in France.
GEO
Thanks Paolo, from something that beautiful it's not hard to take good pictures.
You have seen the boutique I think, so you know what the styling is.
Happy holidays!
GEO
Totally out of the blue and completely unexpected, at least for me, we received the news
that Cartier will release again, a new version of the legendary Crash watch in 2013.
Since a couple of years, the 'community' has asked frequently, why there is no Crash
and why not a larger Crash, since the model is very popular among men.
Cartier responded and will present in January, 4 d
We have Frank and you should pay the boutique a visit. Louis Vuitton and Cartier are probably the boutiques with the most impact
in the P.C. Hooftstraat. Beautiful spacious and well designed stores.
GEO
Hi Dino, thanks! The Boutiques in general are a great objects for photography and although the boutiques
all share the same style, they all have their own way in making it their own Boutique.
Like the style of chandeliers for instance.
The black panthers are statues; display material.

Christmas and the period around New Year, is always a very special time in the Boutiques,
a period when ties of love & friendship are being tightened with family and friends
and dinner parties and presents become more important than usually.
December 2012 is the first year that we highlight one of the Worldwide Cartier Boutiques
and the Amsterdam Store is the first, to be in the spotligh
It's always hard to capture the colour of gold,
especially under the difficult circumstances of a press presentation.
So it might not be very clear from the pictures what the exact colour is,
the Ballon bleu Tourbillon however will only be available in pink gold and in white gold,
at least that is what I understood.

More watches from the Fine Watchmaking Collection will be shown in Geneva Pedro, in January week 4
and we will have them on line, soon after the opening of the SIHH.
Same for the main stream collection, all models will be shown then, so no more pre announcements.
GEO
The Rotonde de Cartier case is so versatile and a great case for this kind of calibers.
It grabbed me also ride away when I first saw it with the Grande Date.
This Perpetual Chronograph did not do it for me and only from a visual point of view,
but that's all a matter of taste.
Gold or platinum rotors..... to be honest, I do not know how Cartier thinks about it
and what the reason is, not
Hi Martin, I was so overwhelmed by this watch and also the fact that it fitted so well,
that I do not remember the weight well. Probably not something, that made all alarm bells ring,
otherwise I would have remembered.
I fully agree with, what you mentioned in your last line,
that "Cartier heritage + Cartier design + fabulous Cartier Manufacture Movements will be hard to beat"
The quality o
Cartier's third and probably last SIHH 2013 pre announcement,
that was done during Press presentations in New York, Paris and Tokyo,
is a very exiting one;
the 'Ballon Bleu de Cartier' tourbillon with double jumping second time zone watch,
quite a name for a time piece, but it also is quite a watch, that's limited to 50 pieces only.
The watch is not a straight forward tourbillon, l

A very welcome at Revolution composer82 !
The 103.08 is one of the coolest Urwerk models in my opinion. Love the TiAIN, the feel and especially the colour of the material.
The watch is powered with the same movement as the 103.03, that I have myself and I must say that I never heard
any difficult stories
Just to illustrate how different these models are
have a look at these close up pictures of the lugs of the Louis Cartier Ronde de Cartier
and the lugs of the Rotonde de Cartier.
As soon as I have information about the caliber, I will report back.
