I do agreee JAck - with most of your points... however
I do concider sucha complex pack of evolutions and innovations to be a Revolution as a whole. Sure it is not as complex revolution as, let's say, Quartz movement, but still, changes so much, than simple innovation is not sufficient term for it.
Great writeup Jack... as always.
However I do have one question.
How do you see this ID Two watch - a revolution or an evolution ? And could tell us wy this or that?
When I wrote my story on my website, tehre was an ongoing debate on how to actualy call this concept piece...
Hope I'm not breaking any rules posting this..for your pleasure.

Quite a large piece...46mm in diameter and about 17mm thick. But titanium makes up for the size..

What a fantastic piece...a perfect bland of tradition, classic and modern, contemporary design....
LOVE IT..
Huge congratulations to Max and his Team.
With permission form Jack Forster I present you our (mine to be precise) interview with great Peter Speake-Marin.
Taken during this years BasleWorld 2011...in the Speake-Marin stand in The Palace.
Notice: duo to the somewhat bad sound-quality you have to turn your speakers a bit up.
Enjoy...
