that´s really what is so specially georgeous about the cartier santos/dumont designs, they date back to the days of art noveau and art deco,
and the timeless pure designs of joseph hofmann - and i am sure, klimt would have worn a cartier if he would have lived long enough..))

after the "does size count" matter i have a serious question to those experienced with a cartier santos:
i bought mine used, but by it´s condition i could tell that is was treated very well, not worn much,
and the bracelet was stiff and tight
since i took out one link and wear it pretty tight,
after just about two weeks the bracelet has loosened noticeably - not badly
to me it´s size made and makes a good part of it´s understatement and charme,--
times and mentalities change, the santos shouldn´t, and it is little wonder to me that it was not before 2005
that an xl model was introduced;
as geo said "there is CURRENTLY an xl model in the santos catalogue..." -- so be it and let´s
hope the xl will not make the santos the new favourite weapon of pimps and
