Mr leux what a very nice post, really brilliant, you must be a very creative person. Your photos are so nice and well taken.
I really like it! Unfortutately I am not very good with the camera.
The forum has been doing very well, you are very right mr leux, thank to Geo indeed, but also thanks to the technical Revolution staff, behind him and of course...... us.
I wish all you guys a great Chr
I am not going to show this to my wife, ha, ha. However it might be too dressy for her.
The news is very interesting because what will the next step be, that Cartier will take. A plain matching mens version?
Hope we will see more in Geo's upcoming SIHH report.
Pedro
Very good photos GEO, did you make them before openings hours? For European standards this Boutique looks looks very large.
I like the design very much and it's completely in line, with the large Boutiques I have seen outside Europe.
Pedro
I like the double timezone idea on a tourbillon very much and find the watch very attractive to look at.
But watches from the finewatchmaking collection are out of my price range. Thank you for the wrist shot, because now I learned
that the dimensions for a Ballon Bleu should be seen much different. The 46mm looks very well on you wrist, which makes me think that the Ballon Bleu chrono,
could
The difference is not huge, but there is and I agree with Dino, the lugs of the Rotonde are very nice and masculine looking.
Thanks for the photos, they give a good idea.
Pedro
In a few years time it has developed in a major shopping street. Every time I am in Prague I go there.
First class shops and great buildings to look at. Art Deco or Art Nouveau, I do not know exactly, but simply beautiful.
Pedro
I never heard about is and never saw something like this. But i am not sure if I like the result.
It is very prominent, but I am sure others will like it, for it's craftsmanship.
Pedro
Very interesting watches, not for my budget, but really cool pieces. If I had to choose, it would be the Oval for me.
I wonder if the estimate of that one is about right.
Pedro
I only now had a chance to check the new Cartier website and it's true that only the USA pages are ready. But waht an improvement!
Speed, information and as you said the photos are improved a lot. I find the website very easy to use. Hopefully the other pages will be changed soon.
It has taken a long time but it's a fantastic place to visit now, why has it taken so long, I ask.
Pedro
I have to be honest, I do like the silver collection of cufflinks very much, they are very interesting from a price point of view,
but this 18 K collection is really beautiful. The three color knots are great classics and the rings with the blue stone are my favorites.
May be I am a bit traditional.
Pedro
and the people of her watch department. This is a big news! I wonder what the brand will show us next year.
Finewatchmaking Collection is out of my reach, but I like to see them very much and the watches from this line bring the brand to higher levels.
Pedro
Thanks Geo, very nice watch, although I would not know which size I would like better. Love the looks of the XL version, it's very different.
The medium size is beautiful, but it's just another Tank. The XL really is a statement!
Pedro
Congratulations with your new watch, it looks very good. I have just like you also a Santos 100 and have been looking many times at the Santos Galbé too.
But I think that if I decode to buy another watch, it will be a Tank. Love your photos and am surprosed that you made them with iPhone.
Pedro
Really beuatiful images Geo. I think I have seen the Santos photos on the internet, but all the other photos are new to me.
His ideas are very eye catching and cool the black and white photos of the nail bracelet.
What is the magazine all about in general?
Pedro
I have seen the ID1 at the Time Art exhibition in Zurich, it was in a big glass cabinet. I was very amazed by it.
I hope that the ID2 model will be displayed at the next Time Art exhibition, when it will be held again in some city.
I really hope it will come back because I would like to see it again.
Pedro
Beautiful watch Mysterieux and your pictures are very attractive.
My first and only watch is the black Santos that I bought, or actually got from my wife, when I heard that the production was discontinued.
And my second Cartier is the Santos clock that I have with me when I travel.
Hope you like my watch, although it's probably big for you.
Pedro
but if I am honest, I prefer the version without diamonds. The white and the rosé gold version with diamonds both look very beautiful!
I am just not living an outgoing lifestyle at all, so I will probably hardly wear a watch like this. Same for the cufflinks, love the design and I am sure
this is a great accessoire for many men.
Pedro
I am glad that there will be a new exhibition in Europe, as far as now I only have seen Time Art in geneva which was great.
So this one will be my second exposition where I am really looking forward to.
GEO thank you for the information, I will post some pictures as soon as I have been there.
Pedro
I enjoyed very much seeing your Tank Chronograph and your pictures from New York.
Very nice Tank you are having.
The Tank Americaine is one of my favorite Tanks, the shape is gorgeous.
Pedro
Very nice meeting you two must have had in Paris and what a beautiful tank Basculante.
I have never seen this one with the round window to see the movement. Is it a small watch?
Pedro
Congratulations with your new watch. Excellent choice. Geo advised me this black Santos last year and I got one of the last pieces that the boutique had available.
Very happy with the watch and wear it very day. Have fun with your watch, I think it looks very nice on you.
Pedro
PS: I just posted mine in the Photocontest
I was not keen in the round series, but these avant garde bring Hautlence back in the picture, fantastic watches.
Thanks very much for the pictures.
Pedro
I would not have found the interview myself; very interesting questions and I am looking forward to part II.
Did not know you worked for Christies.
Pedro
Then and now. Really cool to see the vintage workshop in paris and the way it looks now in Switserland.
What I like very much is that Cartier invests so much money in the development of these high tech and expensive movements,
but that they do not forget that there are also consumers, that prefer a more common and more simple watch.
Thanks for the article, very nice and interesting to read.
P
and I still love it every day. For my wrist, which is about 19cm I think, it's very good.
I line the black finish very much and after year of daily wear it still looks prestine.
Pedro
That is a clear explanation.
I find it a very good development that Cartier is doing their own movements now, but it is a pity that it makes this these watches are much more expensive
than the Privé series. I find them very cool and interesting especially Jumping hour Ronde.
Pedro
Hope it's not too silly but I still do not understand exactly what the difference is between these two lines.
I know that collection privé was Cartier top line for a long time and finewatchmaking is the top line now, but what is the difference between the two
and why is the first one (the privé line), replaced with the one that we see now in the Boutiques?
