I dont know where to askthis so I do here in Prime Time.
I was searching for something when I came to this Moser et Cie from ca 1930.The condition looks very good.
Question is:If it´s a good condition watch,is it worth purchasing at under 300euro?
I think we usually dont need a "reason" for buying an exclusive watch, except when when we are trying to convince people who are not in to nice watches that a watch is worth to pay for.
It really shows that banks are starting to protect themselfs.Recent increase in precious metals is just a start,it will go much higher. For those prepared, now it´s time to invest!
The fiat currencies makes gold and silver a lowrisk, highprofit market.Have to love this situation.Anyone who is prepared will have a goldseat for the future!
I´m not an economist, but I invest in metals, and I cant ignore what is coming, probably the worst since 1929...but people can prepare for it if they open their eyes.
But this is a watch forum and not an economic forum. So lets pray "our" industry is wellprotected.
Nobody held a gun,and nobody need to!
I dont think they are doing wrong, they run businesses and have responsibility to maximize profit to their shareholders. My point was unclear,I just mean if they showed some willingness to keep the prizes at current level instead of follow fluctuations in the market,it would be possible that more people took the step from just dreaming about highend watche
So the follow up question would be:will you lower the price if the Swissfranc decline in value?
Anyone believe that?Of course not. It´s easy for them to be gready when in a branch with customers buying with emotions and heart.
It should, but I guess most companies bought their metals long before the current situation in the metal market so it will not affect the market yet I believe.
And the companies have a businessidea of having differently priced products that only has the metal as difference...
