Gorgeous photos George!
I never realized that we had such a beautiful and spacious boutique here in Amsterdam! I guess it's time that I visited them and actually feel slightly ashamed that I haven't done that yet.
Now that's an excellent development, to see a brand new in-house chronograph caliber from Cartier.
I'm very much looking forward to see it at the SIHH.
Very nice to see these affordable new Cartiers, in steel and with an automatic movement. Excellent move from Cartier if you ask me. Guess I'll go and try to Tank Solo on my wrist
WOW, WOW and one more time WOW. What an impressive article, Geo!
Although I'm no fan of quartz movements and would actually prefer a JLC Atmos on the chimney's mantelpiece, I realize these clock are of an entirely different league. These are the desk clocks and travel clocks that, I must admit, never gave much thought.
I've become a fan of Cartier timepieces, only because you've shown the
Very nice cufflinks!!
While the panther looks exiting, too exiting for my taste I must admit, the new cheetah looks like cufflinks I could wear. Thanx for sharing the beautiful cufflinks and like always, beautifully photographed!
This the bracelet that I would wear. For me it's watches (one at a time) and one ring, but further no jewelry. This is one that I would wear... However now it's only available in gold and since I already have to get over a mental barrier, it looks like the budget barrier might be a problem.
But I still love that design!

And the informal 'look' can be seen with the Bremont on my wrist

When reading this, try to imagine Jeremy Clarkson's (the Top Gear host) voice speaking this out loud
Again not mine... but such a lovely watch! In-house chronograph movement with column wheel and vertical clutch. Impressive specifications... and looks!
Thanx for the feedback Geo and Jaw. I am aware that taste is subjective, so my post reflects how I experienced the exhibition in Zürich.
I posted my comments with reason; I hope they will help the Cartier team to improve the exhibition.
It goes without saying the exhibition is set up with an enormous attention for details and that reflects in the whole experience.
I do hope they improved some things and I say this because I found the exhibition slightly disappointing, especially since Zürich is not next door and we had to make quite a detour for getting there.
Several reasons....
1. When I visited this exhibition in Zürich, I found the lighting to be incredibly bad. Because of the lighting it was almost impossible to read the text signs.
2. There w

Ditto... no clue what version ROO this is. With my minimal knowledge of all ROO limited editions, it might as well look like the normal version with black dial.
Bert already made some photos of the Hautlence HL Ti 02 and the Ochs und Junior Due Ore in the mean time. Guess there will be a few more in the near future :-)
Unfortunately not Mark, but this is in my humble opinion still the most beautiful Royal Oak every made. The dial looks more sophisticated than the new 15300 and also the balance of the design, by leaving away a second hand and a date window and the AP logo above the 6, looks so perfect.
I'd really like a true hommage to this beautiful landmark in watchmaking history.
