Stepan Sarpaneva Revises Korona KO for Production...Posted by Curtis
Hi all,
First exhibited at BaselWorld 2010, Stepan's Korona KO was greeted with great interest, but is was only a functioning concept watch... then. Stepan is now working on tweaking it a bit and hopes to have the revised KO ready by the end of the year. Below are a few comments and pics from Stepan and the evolution of the Korona KO. Just a quick update of the Korona K0, I have started to work on the "real" version and hopefully it will be finished before the end of the year. I have changed the case material from Titanium to Stainless Steel mostly because of the color, which I like more, and also the finishing of the case will have more contrast. There will be a lot of details that will change on the watch, size of the luminous, hands, diver´s ring, position of the crown... (from the proto watch.) Here you have the first pictures of the new dial version with bigger luminous and different colors than what was the proto which you can find from my website. Here's the prototype press pics:
