I'm still just dying to hear more about the escapement, whenever Kari's ready to give us the 411 winking smiley .

If pictures are really worth 1000 words, you're getting screwed! These pictures are worth much more than that eye popping smiley

Stunning piece -- do you know if he'll be offering the single sided bridge for the balance wheel with this movement? That was always my favorite part.

Thanks for the great photos. And a question please.

Hi, I'm new on this forum. Please forgive me if this has been asked and answered previously.

On the WG dial, the roman numerals for 4 and 8 look correct. But on the RG dial, the "V" in the roman 4 and 8 are upside down. Does anyone know why?

Regards,
Richard.

Sharp eyes you have there cool smiley.

While there is no frozen rule for index arrangement on dials, the general approach goes in the direction you quote for Kari's WG watch. And it makes sense, since things are easier to read when numbers are flipped from 4 to 8.

Perhaps the RG watch is an exception to the rule, a choice of a customer or a mistake. I'll look if I can find that out for you.
