Hi all,

The horological collection of the late George Daniels will be auctioned by Sotheby's London November 6, 2012. The collection includes some pieces made by Daniels, (when Daniels sold a watch he asked the client to always offer him the right of first refusal if they should decide to sell, which allowed Daniels to buy, sell and collect his own work,) as well as pieces from other respected makers.

Selected pieces from the Daniels collection will be touring, with the dates and locations to be released later, but we do know the collection will be in Geneva May 2012. The auction catalog will be available late September/early October.

Thanks to Matthew Floris and Kelly Signorelli-Chaplin at Sotheby's London for the photographs and details below.

It will be interesting to see what (astronomical) prices these pieces reach.
