I've had the pleasure to meet the Grönefeld brothers a few weeks ago (with a group of collectors) during a presentation at their head office in Oldenzaal.
It was a very impressive meeting as Bart & Tim showed us pretty much everything without hesitation! From the first sketches of the One Hertz to the way Bart sinks his teeth into his bench to work on the smallest details like perfecting a little screw. Here are the photo's to give you an impression. 
At the end of the presentation we all got a little box with magnifying lens and the smallest screw they use in their watches. Very hard to see even with the magnifier. At home I shot a picture with a decent macrolens to see a perfect little screw as small as 0,5mm! 
We finished this impressive day with a great dinner with Bart, Tim & their father. Live Life! De Horlogefotograaf
