Round about the Rotonde

Thanks for this great read Geo! When the Rotonde first came out I though the case was rather plain. Not that it was lacking Cartier-DNA, because it doesn't, but compared to other collections it seemed to be a little less exciting. Now it is clear that this was intentionally done by Cartier to create a clear, clean canvas for some of the most stunning dials in the industry! Indeed, as you already point out Geo, is the Rotonde collection one with an exceptionally strong line up! I absolutely love the Jour et Nuit, which I could very well wear as a daily watch, but also agree with you that the Day & Night works very well in this case. Brilliant is also the jump hour version....roman hour indexes make all the difference! smiling smiley
