Thanks for that, Geo. I usually wear a 10 1/2 or 11 over here, which is about a size 63 or 65, so that's very good news.
Now I just have to go and take a look at one!
I have to agree with most, that the white gold or yellow gold is the best colour. I would have to see it, but not sure that pink gold would be the right choice for "Just a nail". My thoughts are that if I get a gold watch it will likely be red or pink gold, though. My personal taste is to have the watch colour match the ring, but that's just me. The ring itself is so unique, that it might hardly matter.
I also really like the idea of the patina developing as the ring ages, and as it acquires some marks and scratches.
