And while I can see that, in theory at least, the Astrorégulateur performs a similar role to the tourbillon using a completely different - and it must be said, very creative - approach, I'd like to see independent validation of how it works in practice.
And to that end I'd like to see a Cartier Astrorégulateur in the Concours International de Chronométrie 2013!
Until then, I'll continue to appreciate the Astrorégulateur for the sensational timepiece it is.
