Hi All,
I was at the recent IWC Dinner a couple of nights ago and Zach our hardworking moderator was also there shooting away. I am sure he will be posting his report soon but in the meantime, I thought to share what I managed to shoot that night. Here goes:

wow, thanks and the faces are stunning!

Wish I was there, for the 1000th timewinking smiley...when looking at these reports I'm always jealous in a healthy way. I wish Holland was the "watch"place to be of Europe like Singapore is for S.E. Asia.

thanks and cheers, Wim

Not sure about the model in the blue shirt but the others are certainly showing the watches very well indeed.

The Portofino clearly was the favourite, and deservedly so. If ever there was a beautiful pocket watch on the wrist rendition, this is it.

Those are some of the best candid wrist shots I've even seen . . . though it looks like at least one watch was turned upside down on the wrist to give us a better look.

Were those tray brought by IWC? They contain a phenomenal collection.

Beautiful photo assay, Harry. A lovely gathering and presentation of IWC's 2009 novelties.
My favourite is the Potofino in the RG version. I thought the Platinum looks great but this version is even better.
Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Jim

They show cased all the watches at the dinner and a few days later, they allowed me a private access to photograph the watches at their Richemont offices. It was there I shot all the watches in the trays.

I spent an hour shooting a few of them individually (if I did that for all the watches, I would have taken a full day at least) of which I will be creating some wallpapers for IWC fans.

Cheers
Harry

Yes, IWC always put on a great evening and its all to do with the great team of people they have there. We are very fortunate in Singapore to have such a vibrant watch community as well as industry. I wish everyone can come to Singapore more often to enjoy the events and share with us the spirit of watch collecting here.

Cheers

Thanks for the stunning pictures as usual Harry. Jeff, Vincent and Zach all look very professional...

My take on the watches?

Number 1 - RG Portofino
Number 2 - WG Portuguese
Number 3 - RG Portuguese

I simply love the RG Portofino with the cream colored dial. But alas, it was a tad too big for me...

A wonderful evening with nice watches surrounded by nice friends and food - what more could one ask for?

Thanks to Andreas, Mike, Connie, Vivian and the IWC for a wonderful evening. And congrats to your plans for an IWC Boutique right here in Singapore!
