IWC showcased its 2010 Novelties at its ION Boutique yesterday evening. A simple cocktail and presentation was provided to a small and select group of guests before the unveiling of the new watches for collectors and fans to touch and feel. Of course, I was on hand to do a little more .... photograph them... close up. :-)

Here are some of the captures of the evening.....

Here are the captures of the watches at hand.... I have to admit that I photographed the watches that caught my eye rather than shooting everything launched this year... ;-)

Thanks Harry for sharing the lovely evening with friends and IWC showcasing their 2010 novelties except the Grand Complication. Like this year novelties and espescially the boutique pieces. Thanks to all at IWC SIngapore for hosting the event. Cheers, Jim
Thanks Harry, but there is a big problem with one of your photos...

Can we crop out the right hand side of this "Beauty and the Beast" shot please?

If you do, you will see the miraculous improvement.

Right?

The focus on details are what make IWC boutique special, from the IWC branded chocolates, cups and utensils up to the SEXtant..., but that's another story...

Chocolates, anyone?

I would love to see them producing a marine chronometer...
(in fact, I would love to see more brands endeavouring in producing larger calibre, without tremendous complications, but excellent finish and non-stratospheric prices (although this is obviously subject to the budget of each watch enthusiast).
Wow! Great pics of the watches...

It was a good evening well spent - interesting watches, informed collectors, excellent hosts.

Your close-up shots of your favourites of the evening are spectacular - but this is my favourite shot of yours of the night:

because it really brings out the gold of the hands and numbers.

Whilst I did not like this as much as I thought I would, the silver dial handwound Portuguese with the contrasting small seconds dial had a lot more appeal than expected. I would have loved for you to have taken a close-up of the white gold perpetual, simply to see whether your skills would have brought out the particularly nice shade of the blue dial ...

Thanks to the IWC team and for the great reports.
