Last week a group of collectors met for their regular GTG at Café de Hong Kong. I missed most of the earlier GTG either because of work or travel but was glad to be able to join the bros this time for a fun evening of watch, cycling, camera and of course stock market talk Thanks to Eddie for organizing this and Peter, our food guru for selecting the dishes! Food was great and I’ll leave it to the food gurus to comment.

Part 2………..Food



Crispy seafood roll



There were four dishes from a 13kg giant garoupa …this first one is Stir fried fish with spring onion and ginger



Braised live lobster with pan fried beehoon….this dish is the winner!



Braised chopped fish head with bitter gourd in black bean sauce



Braised duck with sea cucumber, mushroom and broccoli



Oven baked egg with fish intestine & liver



Cray pot braised pectoral fin with roast pork



Fish roe fried rice



The very sinful deep fried French toast with peanut butter topped with butter and honey….Heart attack!

It is once again proven that taste is an attitude! Not only regarding the food...I could almost smell it and did get hungry! But also regarding watches! I like the wide variety of watches and they all have their own charm. I'm actually surprised how much I like the Patek. It's case shape is wonderful! And also that VC is a personal favorite of mine! Thanks for sharing!

a wide variety of watches

We thought it would be special to have watches with complications like Annual Calendar, Perpetual Calendar, watches with case materials other than steel and gold.

And Zach is right - we have more who did not come who are also MIH owners.

Have been busy lately with two new found hobby (actually more of a physical fitness thingy).
