URWERK 103 Piece Unique vs F.P.Journe Centigraphe Sport

Guys i need you.

I went to FPJ and Urwerk official dealer in Milan to see what's new and, poor me, i fell in love not just with one...but with two awesome timepieces.

here they are (sorry for the bad quality pics):

Urwerk 103 Piece Unique, it's in steel with AlTiN coating, not black as they always do but it's more like a gunmetal grey...simply fantastic...maybe the best looking Urwerk ever seen...

And here's the other one...F.P.Journe Centigraphe Sport...completely different from the first one...it's amazing how Journe made the dial and the movement transparent and, believe me, you can't trust yourself when you take it in your hand... it's the lighter watch ever... and the aluminium grey is something really special...

here it is...

Now i'm home thinking and thinking again but i really don't realize wich one i prefer....

Help me with my choice, please!!!!

Easy choice for me

Urwerk 103! No doubt about it.
This watch is só unique, só good looking and só great to wear.
I have a version of the regular 103 series my self and I only have good experiences with this watch
and never felt sorry that I bought it.
But if a time piece with this special looks fits your personality and life style can only be judged by you.

The F.P. Journe Centigraphe Sport is a superb watch but here is why I would go for the URWERK UR-103

1. F.P. Journe is a superb brand with fantastic inventive movements, but for me if I was looking for an F.P. Journe then I would get a dress watch, not a sport watch, because that's I picture the brand, i.e. interesting classical dress watches.

2. I have concerns how well aluminum will wear over time ,especially if worn as a sports watch. There is a reason aluminum isn't used much for watch cases: it isn't that suitable.

3. The UR-103 is an iconic model now out of production so in general they are very limited.

4. This particular model is a unique piece. It's doesn't get much better than that.

But to be honest, I'd go for teh one taht puts the biggest smile on my face when it is strapped on my wrist. That over-rules all other consideration for me.

for the answers, really.

I know that the UR 103 is out of production and that's why i think i'll go for the unique piece but the Journe really amazed me...

I already own FPJ and Urwerk watches by the way so both will not be my first.

i bought the Centigraphe Sport.

The Piece Unique by Urwerk will be my next one if they will not sell it meantime.

That was a hard choice, thank you very much for your advice, even for those who answered me in pvt.

have a great weekend guys!
congrats!

I love them both - you really could not have gone wrong with either one. Each has different merits, and I'm sure you will be getting BOTH! =)
