Cyrano Devanthey (Urwerk constructor and R&D) accepting the prize on behalf of Felix Baumgartner, Marin Frei and the URWERK team.

a well deserved prize! I had the chance to put the 110 on my wrist last Baselworld and it is a jewel on the wrist...and above all, very wearable!

while I do not mind seeing Yacine and all on stage I can't get Felix/Martin did not find the time to attend in person.

It wasn't a snub. Felix is more comfortable at his watchmaker's bench than speaking in public so he took the opportunity to highlight the fact that URWERK was much more than Martin and himself by putting others in the URWERK team under the spotlight.

but interesting approach.

Considering how rare such an award is for most, with FP Journe being the exception, you expect the master to go and fetch the trophy, regardless how shy he might be. This said, I understand what Felix and Martin did.
