In celebration of my first post on the new forum, here are a few pix from a strap change yesterday.
The 249 was sitting with the Montreal 2007 F1 strap: 
This one is an aftermarket Nubuck Gator in Black with Platinum stitching: 
This is also the first time I'm using this custom buckle that was generously sent to me by a fellow Risti (you know who you are, thank you & merci)

Great to see you posting and great report on the strap change! 
I've never gone to a black strap on my cali yet, but now that it's from service I'm going to have to try it out. I think I know who the buckle is from as I have one w/ 1936 on it.... Great risti for sure! 
Btw... love your light box set up! I am takin' notes bro! Happy New Year my friend!
