...And it is time to change strap !!
One of the most loved hobbies of Panerai owners, changing straps !
I found one in soft rubber, a nice combo with my PAM176....A less sporty, a little more dressy....

It is perfect right now, when weather is getting warmer and wrist is starting to sweat moody smiley

Changing straps

Changing straps is só easy with a Panerai,
I am always a bit jealous since with most watches it's quite complicated,
or one need it to be done at the dealer.
This is such an advantage.

easy indeed !

Ciao Geo,
with Panerai it is easy indeed, and i have to say that now that i discovered how much a strap can add to the look of a watch - sometimes changing completely its nature - that i am experimenting with other watches too.
Not so difficult once you've practiced for some time.

There is a small area in my city where are concentrated many small watch parts shops, most of them sell many different straps - rubber, leather, cordura etc. and so since i discovered i was able to change straps by myself i started to collect them...
Lately my preference goes to the ones with holes, reminiscent of the seventies.

The real problems begin when you try to replace a strap with a bracelet....Especially if you have to reduce its size - almost impossible without the proper tools !

bye bye from Milano,

A very practical choice...

also have a good collection of straps, since changing straps is so easy and especially when you have easy access to the shops selling straps.smiling smiley
Sometimes to ease the urge of getting a new watch, we get a new strap instead...winking smiley

Dear Chua,
you're 150% right....grinning smiley...That's exactly how it goes....It is the only way to avoid buying a watch each month (avoding the divorce too confused smiley), a new strap make a watch look a new one so can calm down the rush of shopping...

Only downside... each time i have to reassure my wife that i didn't buy a new watch, it is the old one with new strap LOL

ciao !
