Ciao Geo,
with Panerai it is easy indeed, and i have to say that now that i discovered how much a strap can add to the look of a watch - sometimes changing completely its nature - that i am experimenting with other watches too.
Not so difficult once you've practiced for some time.
There is a small area in my city where are concentrated many small watch parts shops, most of them sell many different straps - rubber, leather, cordura etc. and so since i discovered i was able to change straps by myself i started to collect them...
Lately my preference goes to the ones with holes, reminiscent of the seventies.
The real problems begin when you try to replace a strap with a bracelet....Especially if you have to reduce its size - almost impossible without the proper tools !
bye bye from Milano,
