Thanks to the organising committee for this wonderful event : Pauline, John, Pat, Zameen, Terence, Jimmy, Yeu Huan and others!
The GTG was help on 28 Apr 2012, Sat. The turn-out was overwhelming...over 60 ristis joined (incl ristis from Philippines, Indonesia etc), plus others from overseas via video recordings.
There is even a charity auction for one of Eng Tay's work.

Here are some pics for the event...

And what a collection of PAMS there were.
I honestly had no idea that the Panerai community was so large in Singapore.
Great to have GTG's like that.

I believe Singapore has one of the highest concentration of Panerai collectors in the world, given our population of 5m...smiling smiley
It's amazing to see so many collectors in a GTG.

I'm actually quite surprised at myself for knowing most of the attendees. Some are old friends, some are FB friends before this event.

But as I was working at the registration table, I found I was able to hand out name tags to people without asking for their names!
Thanks slide68...

avatar What a difference a strap makes!
May 04, 2012 05:57AM
That looked like some GTG!! Thanks for the pictures! It still amazes me how much a different strap can change the look of a Panerai! To me this has always been one of the major draws and "secret" weapons of the brand! I really wish I could have been there!

Many collectors love to change the straps to make the watch more vintage looking, especial with the ease of changing straps on Panerai watches.
Most collectors have a wonderful strap collection that could have been used to purchase another watch...smiling smiley
Thanks Martin.
