TWO NEW SPECIAL EDITIONS FOR OFFICINE PANERAI BOUTIQUE IN SINGAPORE

Officine Panerai pays tribute to Singapore with two new Special Edition watches, sold exclusively in the Panerai boutique located at ION Orchard. Both the watches are personalised with the same engraving on the case back, bearing the historic Singapore River with the paranomic view of the City Skyline.
The first Special Edition dedicated to Singapore (PAM00433), of which only 50 units have been made, is a Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT – 44 mm, with the case and the bridge protecting the crown in brushed steel and the bezel in polished steel. All the elements on the black sandwich dial are coated with ecru Super-LumiNova®: the figures, the linear indication of the 10-day power reserve, the small seconds dial which also carries the am/pm indication, the calendar and the inscription “Luminor Panerai GMT”. The hour and minute hands also have the same coating, as does the arrow pointer of the hand which indicates the time in the second time zone. The strap is of vintage leather and the movement is the automatic calibre P.2003, created entirely within the Officine Panerai manufacture at Neuchâtel.
The second Special Edition (PAM00432), of which 200 units have been made, is a Luminor Marina – 44 mm with a case in polished steel and the bridge protecting the crown in brushed steel. The watch has a classic Panerai black dial, with its elegantly simple alternation of hour makers and figures coated with a special ecru Super-LumiNova®; the decoration consists simply of the words “Luminor Marina” and “Panerai” with a picture of a slow-speed torpedo, the vessel on which the frogmen of the Royal Italian Navy carried out their historic missions in the 1940s wearing the first Panerai watches on their wrists. The hour and minute hands, like the small seconds hand at 9 o’clock, are coated with the same luminous substance, thus combining maximum visibility with a vintage look, which is also pointed up by the strap of antiqued leather. The mechanical movement is the hand-wound calibre OP II.
The two watches are part of a series of Special Editions created by Officine Panerai for the collectors of the Panerai boutiques throughout the world. The series includes watches dedicated to the boutiques in Florence, Milan, Geneva, Madrid, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei and Tokyo.

Strap: PANERAI personalised leather strap and large-size brushed steel buckle. Supplied with a second interchangeable strap, a tool to change the strap and a steel screwdriver.
