Years ago Panerai released this desk clock that I saw for the first time in Geneva at 'Les Ambassadeurs'.
Unfortunately it was Sunday and I was leaving town that same evening.
The week after I called 'Les Ambassadeurs' to check if it was still available, but it wasn't.
The production run was probably not that large, since it was also sold out at the dealers in France.
Finally I called the Panerai Boutique in Firenze and they still had a few and were kind enough to ship it to me.
The brands I am mostly interested in are Cartier, Panerai and some independents and I found it really
cool to have a larger clock from one of my favorite brands.
Panerai made since then more and different table clocks, since I still see them in the Boutique in Paris.
I am sure Chua knows more about them.
Usually I have the clock next to my bed, since it has a large and clear display, where Panerai is famous for,
but I think it has seen many places in my home by now.

That's a really nice table clock.
Yes, over the years Panerai has released a few models of Table Clocks and Wall Clocks. These clocks are rather limited in production. The interests in these clocks are rather limited as some collectors don't like the idea of a small quartz engine behind them. To me, its the overall design of the clock that matters...The way the dials are being done in these clocks are really nice....very close to the dial of the watches.
Thanks for sharing.
It always amazes me when I see one, especially the wooden frame and Aluminium 'bezel' and '3', '6', '9', '12' simple dial layout. This combination is just perfect :-)
