Here is a pic for Geo..
The lume comparison of the vintage luminvoa in PAM411 and the normal luminvoa in PAM0.
Managed to take a pic on Sunday since it was rather sunny (it has been raining heavily in Singapore last week). Needed the sunny weather so that I need not use flash.
As you can see from the picture, the PAM411's luminova is indeed vintage looking, like an aged tritium.. Comparing to the vintage luminova in PAM360, I think the PAM360 looks more vintage....
The faux patina on the 360 is very yellow indeed. Less subtle than those on the Boutique Editions. However, when it lumes in the dark, it still looks green
Nice comparison. They are very 'different'... I am still awe over the fonts on the numerals used on the boutique editions and noticed, they are 'slimmer'
I like the not too yellow hue but if it has a DLC/PVD case, the yellowish luminova, will be as sexy as the 360...
ciao Chuaks, indeed the "vintage luminova" touch is beautiful....But from a pragmatic point of view i'd like to make a comparison in the dark...Which one is more visible and lasts more ?
seems thinner, both the numerals as well as the wordings 'Luminor Marina' and 'Panerai'. It's looks nice with the vintage lime.
Yes PVD/DLC case would be nice.
Thanks Ken.
Seems to glow better, from my observation. After taking the pics of these 2 watches near the window, I noticed that when I brought these watches back to the darker part of the room, the lume in PAM0 glows well, but not the PAM411.
Let me take some pics of the PAM411 in the dark for you...
