What an utterly useless complication, but Oh! such a wonderful and stunningly beautiful watch! This is the stuff dreams are made of. I would love to own one of those. Thanks to you both for the pictures!

Question; it looks very shiny, almost like it is rhodium plated. But I thought Patek stopped plating some years ago. Do you know?

AFAIK, they still do not rhodium plate, but I believe that they do use a platinum which has 5% ruthenium in it, which makes it very white.
