Have you ever thought of starting a B&B ?
True, it needs a lot of guests until you cash in what you need for that one but it is a beginning.
I'd be a potential client smoking smiley.

Humm, not sure I would follow you on that one... If I had to sell my house to buy a Patek watch (which I probably would have to do, given the ones I would want!), it would not be for that one. Don't get me wrong, it's very nice, but I have never been a fan of that case shape/lug combination. It looks too "stamped out" to me...

You're more from the Latin part of Europe while Bruno and I are from the Teutonic part.

I always refer to my ancestors as "square heads" and this must be the thing which makes me like that shape.

And thanx for the explanation Mark grinning smiley

I also like this new Patek and hate them (the company) for limiting it, overpricing it and not bringing it to my door (or local dealer). I was prepared to sell a kidney, but that isn't enough with the current street price for kidneys.

The looks of it are just awesome and I dare say this is one of the most beautiful, timeless Patek's I've ever seen.
Maybe my ancestors (the square heads) are also responsable for being madly in love with the Nautilus 5980.

Cheers,
Frank

IWC's Ingenieur and AP's Royal Oak then ?

avatar don't think so...

The AP RO and IWC Ingenieur are nice, but just aren't a suitable replacement of a Nautilus... so I guess I'll stick to writing about it. Wearing seems no option until I win the lottery.

Cheers,
Frank
