Service for an older Atmos clock? ...

I have a JLC Atmos clock from the 1970s era. I don't have the serial number in front of me. The last time I had it out and running and seemed to run reasonably well. I don't think anything is broken, but I'm sure it could use a professional cleaning and adjustment.

What seems like a reasonable price to pay for a service/cleaning?

At least one source referred me to the Richemont service center in Texas. Has anyone here had any particularly good or bad experiences with them?

I did find a local place that has experience with them and quoted me $300.

Thanks very much in advance,
Chris

I guess it comes down to a question of trust. Personally, I will only send to the authorised Jaeger-LeCoultre Service Centre but if you are certain of their skills, I guess it could be cheaper via outside source.
