An annual tradition for Revo-Onliners since 2003, The Revo Jaeger-LeCoultre fans are again treated to an exclusive preview of the 2012 timepieces, this time at the exceptional newly opened Indonesian Restaurant IR1968.
The famous IR1968 Indonesian restaurant was originally established in Hong kong in 1968, then the only authentic Indonesian restaurant in the ex-British Colony. It has seen some prestigious addresses including the bustling Causeway Bay and now still doing brisk business in the prime Central district at L Place.
Opened by an Indonesian Chinese, the restaurant introduces a modern interpretation on traditional Indonesian cuisine. Using only prime grade ingredients, 1968* delivers Indonesian street food - Gourmet Style.
The restaurant also houses an open bar and is one of the rare places where authentic Indonesian favorites such as Bir Bintang (beer) and Tehbotol (a popular Indonesian bottled or packaged Tea) are served along with the more familiar selection of happy hour beverages.
Recently opened in Kuala Lumpur, this could be the first time Malaysians can enjoy authentic Indonesian gourmet food at its finest at home, despite the close proximity of the country to Indonesia, both culturally and geographically.
