with a Nikon CoolPix 4500 that have a unbeatable macro IMHO.

Now I have upgrade to a Nikon CoolPix P90 as I try to figure it out how it works.

Here is a pic I've made with the P90 a few minutes ago.

very well done. I wonder did you put the watch in a light tent to reduce the reflection?

what frightens most watchmakers. Each time cameras (and the people behind) get better and closer, the job gets harder for the one screwing things together.

Sixties is right, the 3D Glashütte Logo is a bomb and the background you have chosen for the Nikon P90 shot Jocke fits the watch perfectly.

Thank you for those pictures !

the last pic, with the P90 isn't bad either! smiling smiley Am I correct that the last upgrade is the P100?

thanks again Jocke! cheers, Wim

Thanks Jocke. It really shows the details and beauty of the watch. the finger smiley
I tried some time back using my Nikon D70 with fixed 60mm in Marco mode. Somehow the effect (especially sharpness) is not as good as yours. Great shots!

Cheers!

The first set is made by a Nikon CoolPix 4500 and the last pic is made by a Nikon CoolPix P90. I use a
box made of white plastic glass and a ramp with 6 fluorescent tubes mounted at the top.

Here is another macro shot of the caliber 90 double swan necks. Click at the pic to get it in orginal size.

Great pics! I always get too much reflection when I try to do watch photos. Maybe someday I will figure out how to do better photos. Thanks!
