I had the appropriate watch today to snap a few pictures. Some fascinating companies are featured in this book, including, of course, GO. Here are some them with additional Senator Chronometer shots included "just because"
can't wait to get my copy through the mail. I bet some watch enthusiast at back of the post office is readding the book before letting the shipment reach me...
very nice pictures. this chronometer is soooooo nice!
Recently, I also got my copy from Wim. Thanks again to you and GO for hosting the competition and the prize which is this really interesting book. Unfortunately I dont have a working digital camera around here at the moment, but the ultimatively cool pictures from Michael couldnt be matched by me with the best Leica available, anyway ;-). The book itself is a very interesting read and a must have for any true craftmanship-connoisseur. I learned a lot and it inspires to think what else could be mentioned, as Mr. Bijpost of course had to make choices. I can really recommend one to all of you.

LOL, very kind of you! I don't consider myself in that kind of company; I grab my point and shoot Canon, set it to macro, and try to keep my mug out of the reflection!! Glad you liked the pictures.
I received it last week. I think I posted on dolce vita on the 11th feb when it arrived. I should have dropeed a line in this part of the forum too.
the idea of the book is to browse through various field from car manufacturing to chocolate manufacturing, from leather goods to tiles, and of course watchmaking. I did not know many of the brands and companies depicted in the book. It is really a very nice gift.
