As some of you might remember few months ago i had to service my Sea Hawk GGYC.
After the service i was provided with the parts that have been replaced (see my post of last 27/10).

Unfortunately one month ago i had to make it serviced again because it was still stopping.
The overhault was done quickly and last friday i was in Milan Sowind group site to receive my watch back.
The reason of the failure was the second wheel bridge slightly bent which, from time to time, was blocking the second wheel and the whole mechanism. Reason for this is difficult to say but it might be due to a sudden force applied to the second wheel / pinion. Given that this extra force should be received by the barrell, the barrell was replaced too.

This gave me the chance to look at the level of finish of components that are well locked inside a 1000m waterproof case....:





I don't think that divers' owners think much to this, but the level of finishing and hand work hidden is really huge !!

Tiny details, that dont seem to matter at all, but still make high end watchmaking.....high end watchmaking! Thanks for sharing!
