Girard Perregaux framed inside a Pirelli tire

I have not seen that many tire watches before spotting this one. I knew Marvin did them but I did not expect GP in that niche.

This one was made for Pirelli and is in gorgeous condition inside the original box.

So far I found out that GP did them also for Firestone. There were models with black and white tires.

Have you ever seen one of these before ?












Almost too neat to use.

That's new to me. I have not seen anything like this before and I must say I like it alot being an automotive fan myself. The movement will be much more refine if they remake this I think smiling smiley thanks for sharing.

I would relaunch it with an in-house GP ladies caliber and craft the case and chain a little stronger.
