Blast from the past: what would you bring back? Hi GEO and CARTIER fans, Here is something I've been thinking about for a long time. If you could wave your magic wand and bring back any now discontinued Cartier model, what would it be? But I must say, that last night when I was at an event organized by Cartier Amsterdam
I saw and tried the Rotonde Grande Date, Day & Night again; it's really a super watch!
Much better looking than the CPCP version of the Rotonde Grande Date.

With the Tortue I really don't understand why they don't do more with it. The Tank Basculante is certainly an item that I would love to see too in the collection.
May be in a slightly larger, bit more butch case.

In Martin's last years post; "All I Want For Christmas" I think I suggested the 'Crash' watch.
That watch has so much history. Originally introduced as a men's watch
(still the way Antiquorum describes the Crash)
but picked up by ladies probably due to it's small size.

But I know that many collectors would love a white metal Crash in a larger case.





Cartier's collection of watches is how ever really huge and I realize that small editions like
50 Tank Basculante's a year or an edition of another 100 'Crash watches' is something
that's a lot of work for them to handle.
