Unfortunately it was Sunday and I was leaving town that same evening. The week after I called 'Les Ambassadeurs' to check if it was still available, but it wasn't. The production run was probably not that large, since it was also sold out at the dealers in France. Finally I called the Panerai Boutique in Firenze and they still had a few and were kind enough to ship it to me. The brands I am mostly interested in are Cartier, Panerai and some independents and I found it really cool to have a larger clock from one of my favorite brands. These clocks are rather limited in production. The interests in these clocks are rather limited as some collectors don't like the idea of a small quartz engine behind them. To me, its the overall design of the clock that matters...The way the dials are being done in these clocks are really nice....very close to the dial of the watches.
