Default Rolex Deepsea : a lot of pics ...

Bad weather outside so I had to take those pics inside.
Much more difficult due to a lot of reflection so the pics are not that good

Great pictures like always Bruno, very impressive even for indoor shots

But i'd like to ask a question... when i saw the first picture of the Deep Sea i thought "oh my goodness, what an ugly fat brother of the SD". I mean the engraving on the inner ring... fugly.
Your pictures are the first "real life" pictures i see of this watch and my opinion slowly gets less negative. And after seeing the wristshot i'm getting almost positive and want to see it myself and than judge again.

Now the question... how is it? I am really, realy curious!

I agree with Frank, Bruno, I think the pics are great. Also, I actually like this rolex. I originally thought the etching on the bezel was stupid but it seems like it doesnt overwhelm the dial.
thanks for the pics.

Thanks for the photos Bruno.

I still don't get the text on the ring. I was perhaps quietly hoping the text would be removed once the watch went into production, maybe in an attempt to fool the counterfeiters. Well, obviously it didn't.

In a side by side comparisson the watch looks huge but in this photos and the wrist shots in particular it looks balanced. It's the natural evolution. With Rolex it takes time.

I am especially intruiged by the bracelet.

Huge congrats Bruno!

I am impatiently waiting for mine now, but I doubt they will be in the US for atleast another month...

Great pix & can't wait to read a review on it once you have it on for a bit!

I'm discounting the text-ring for the domed crystal... I'm so glad the dome is back!

Default A big congrats, Bruno!

Good to see the (Sea-Dweller DeepSea) SDDS outside the showcase and "live". LOL.

Just wonder if you can do us a favor by putting the older version SeaDweller side-by-side? Really want to see how and "feel" how diff is this monster is compared to the legendary ones.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards
Alex

Default Great real life images...

The general size reminds me of the height of the IWC Ingenuier but the bracelet looks like its meant for a smaller watch. It should be more proportionate as IWC had done for its watch. IMO.

But still, must see the watch in the flesh. I guess a way round it is to have it on a real thick strong leather strap!

:-)

Interesting view of the piece a side by side with the regular sea dewller would be a really interesting picture.

Great photos Bruno! I'm not a fan of all the wording on the inner bezel, but I definitively like the new size and general look of the watch. Excellent piece!
