Default The Other Side of Urwerk

We all know how unique Urwerk’s movements are, but they also dabbled in an area which is not as well publicized, by creating unique cases for the 103 collection such as this one..

Default Wonderful craftsmanship.

Hi Andrew,

I've seen a few of these at the Hong Kong AD, they do look fantastic(and very shiny and very difficult to photograph), for me in particular that Dragon motif really hits the spot.

Default Thank you for drawing our attention to this less known aspect of URWERK's timepieces Andrew

All of URWERK's engraving to date has been by the the Neuchâtel-based master engraver, Jean V. Huguenin.

I have heard that Vladimir Putin has a 103 with an engraved eagle.

I was just wondering whether Urwerk would be able to show to us photos of its different engravings to date? That would be really cool

Default Stunner 4 sure ...

Although I love the clean lines of the 103 I find this kind of elaborate and masterful engravings very much appropriate almost adding to the uniqueness of this timepiece.

Let me add I would also love to see some other engravings done to date.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

Default That's a good question. URWERK is pronounced

ERR WERK - or as Felix Baumgartner and Martin Frei are native Swiss German speakers - ERR VERK.

ERR rhymes with BURR
