Default Tempus The Temple of Time

Hi everyone

Just read today Business Times (Singapore), the eagerly long awaited event Tempus by The Hour Glass is happening again from Sept 5 to 9.
I've marked my calender!

My local friends, please block your leave or arrange appointment somewhere...
Our overseas friends, you might want to plan and book your hotel in advance.

Have a good weekend.

Yes, the words from Michael Tay (from the Business Times):

"Following on the success of our Tempus Watchscapade event in 2004, Tempus The Temple of Time will take place from Sept 5-9 at the Raffles Place Convention Centre. This time we intend to add more content to make it even bigger and better. On top of roughly 45 participating watch brands and a large number of exhibits, we will introduce a new feature - Swiss mechanical art. Francois Junot's automatons and the music boxes of Reuge are prime examples of this; both find their origins in the micro-mechanics of watch-making."

Default Man!!!!!

this is not to be missed. I took 3 days leave during the last Tempus event attending talks, workshops and talking to the watchmakers. Enjoyed every minute of it. I'm saving my leave again See you there!

Having experienced the first edition of this outstanding watch enthusiast gathering, I can strongly recommend to anybody on this planet to make it the 2007 priority to attend. For end consumers and collectors, simply forget Basel, made for distributors, retailers and journalists and book your ticket to Singapore and enjoy the feast Michael Tay and his Hour Glass will prepare. In Asia, you will find a room downtown and hardly have to queu for dinner. Cheers, Mark

Default Thanks Kong for the heads up!....

This is going to become the new pilgrimage for serious collectors all over the world. Why bother with Basel 2007 when the brands come to you in your neighbourhood? Save the money and buy a new timepiece here! :-)

Cheers
Harry

Default Mark your calendar & please reserve your air-tickets & lodgings!!

Hi everyone

Look forward seeing everyone.

For our overseas friends, please reserve your travel tickets and lodgings as Singapore is recently reporting heavy load capacities for both airlines and hotels.
Hey guys, please book somewhere near, that you can walk back after drinks!

Default Hey ...8 Sept is Mid-Autumn Festival

I was just flipping through my calendar, and realise on 8 Sept, Saturday...is the Mid-Autumn (or Mooncake & Lantern) Festival !

Wow...some restaurants should think of making moon-cakes shaped like a watch. Hey guys, for those who have moon-phase complication (and didn't bother to sync correctly), well, please ensure on that day when you visit the show, it indicates "FULL MOON" otherwise, haha...it shows how we know.

For our overseas friends (if you are here), you should enjoy the mooncakes and perhaps there will be lantern light-up around town.
